How would America be different if we held teachers on a higher level than professional athletes?
newspapers would write about the “athletes shortage”
professional sports would consist mostly of white females...

Written on Good Friday in 2005, this poem reflects the depression of the soul that even strong Christians can fall victim to when the world’s pressures become overwhelming and we loose sight of our Savior’s hand.
I am a voice
     of nothing
I have no face of beauty
     no hands
